WSEC-R prescriptive credits
WSEC-R Table R406 credits are mandatory Washington State Energy Code compliance points for residential permits. They are not federal IRS tax credits. The adopted code referenced here is the 2021 WSEC-R (as amended, effective March 15, 2024). Check every R406 value against the adopted state and city amendment package, including any Seattle SDCI amendment, before you rely on a worksheet. This page does not calculate a tax credit or quote a dollar amount. The IRS Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit could be claimed for improvements made through December 31, 2025.
